Around the Farm takes a quick look at some of yesterday’s performances by Indians prospects throughout the system. The positions listed below are where the player was playing in yesterday’s game. 

Tyler Holt (CF, Akron): 4-for-4, 3 R, 1 HR, 1 RBI, 1 SAC

Nothing like a 4-for-4 day to break you out of a slump. Holt was only 7-for-45 before Wednesday, struggling mightily at the top of the Aeros’ lineup. The center fielder broke out in a big way, helping to lead Akron in their 10-6 win. The home run was Holt’s first in 67 games at the Double-A level and an encouraging sign for the outfielder. Power will never be a big part of Holt’s game, but as long as he hits the ball like he did Wednesday and maintains the threat of some power, he will find a way to stick around in the game.
