HIGHLIGHTS
Anderson Polanco (SP, Lake County): W (1-3), 7.0 IP, 6 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 6 SO. After pitching quite well down the stretch in 2014 following a move to the starting rotation, it seemed Polanco was on track for great things this year. That did not come to pass in the left-hander’s first four starts of 2015, but things clicked for Polanco in this start. The strikeouts were there and he did not issue a walk for the first time in 2015, which added up to seven shutdown innings. Naturally, if things are going to turn around for the left-hander going forward, this will need to become more of a routine thing for Polanco, but just seeing this side of the left-hander again is a step in the right direction.
